Job Details

Description of Duties:

- Enter, develop, and maintain standard cost data for new and existing materials and ensure accurate inventory valuation by working cross functionally within the site to cost all new daily requests in the ECA database. Establish and verify component costs, labor costs and overhead costs used for inventory valuation and COGS posting.

- Perform BOM analysis and verification as part of our bills of materials and routings review.

- Ensure an annual 100 percent review of bills of materials and routings and enter in the tracking system.

- Ensure all production orders are properly reconciled and recognized in the correct period and investigate and rectify errors or discrepancies.

- Analyze and investigate manufacturing variance accounts (Finished Goods Variance, Material Revaluation, PPV, etc.) and provide explanations.

- Assist with the annual standard cost roll for make and buy materials.

- Assist in compliance with Sarbanes-Oxley Section 404 implementation and maintains internal control documentation and the testing of internal controls.

- Provide back up and support to other accounting staff as needed.

- Perform other duties as required.

Required Qualifications:

- Typically requires a University Degree (Finance/Accounting/Business) and minimum 2 years prior relevant experience.

- Experience with cost accounting

- Experience in ERP software system.

- Experience utilizing Microsoft Office- Excel, Word, and PowerPoint skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

- Knowledge of US GAAP.

- Experience with cost accounting

- Experience in SAP

- Advanced Excel skills, Microsoft Office suite of products
