Key Responsibilities
- Team Leadership & Oversight
- Lead and mentor a team of PHP developers working in a Linux-based environment with Docker containers and MySQL databases.
- Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
- Process Management
- Oversee the User Story Discovery phase in collaboration with the Product Owner and Lead Developer.
- Approve Strategic Technical Scopes authored by the Lead Developer, ensuring alignment with business goals and technical feasibility.
- Review and approve Tactical Technical Scopes created by developers, ensuring clarity and completeness before development begins.
- Technical Guidance
- Provide architectural and design input for PHP applications and services.
- Ensure adherence to best practices in coding, testing, and deployment.
- Support containerized development and deployment using Docker.
- Collaboration & Communication
- Act as a liaison between product, development, and QA teams.
- Facilitate sprint planning, retrospectives, and technical reviews.
- Ensure timely and transparent communication across all stakeholders.
Requirements
Required Skills & Experience
- 5+ years of experience in PHP development, with at least 2 years in a leadership or team lead role.
- Strong understanding ofMySQL,SQL,Linux environments, andDocker.
- Proven experience managing structured development processes and approval workflows.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to balance strategic oversight with hands-on technical involvement.
