UX/UI Designer will partner closely with our software development team and collaborate with stakeholders across PR, Marketing, Product, E-commerce, Customer Support, Operations, and Legal.

You'll own end-to-end design for our websites and internally developed applications - from discovery and research to polished visual design, handoff, and post-launch optimization.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Own product design end-to-end: user research, journey mapping, information architecture, wireframes, prototypes, UI design, and design QA.
  • Work closely with Software Development: run design reviews, write clear specs, manage dev handoffs, and support implementation through launch.
  • Partner with stakeholders: turn business goals and constraints into intuitive flows and interfaces; facilitate workshops and co-creation sessions.
  • Build & evolve our design system: components, patterns, design tokens, accessibility standards, and usage guidelines.
  • Accessibility by default: design and validate to WCAG 2.2 AA; lead contrast, keyboard, and screen-reader checks.
  • Measure & iterate: define success metrics, set up experiments, analyze UX telemetry, and ship improvements.

PREFERRED LEVEL/TYPE/YEARS OF EXPERIENCE

  • 5+ years of professional experience designing websites and product UIs end-to-end, with a strong portfolio of shipped work.
  • Proven track record collaborating with software developers and engineers and cross-functional teams to deliver on time.
  • Strong command of interaction design, visual hierarchy, typography, and design systems.
  • Demonstrated experience running user research (interviews, usability tests, surveys, concept/AB tests) and turning insights into decisions.
  • Solid understanding of front-end fundamentals (HTML/CSS, responsive layouts; basic JavaScript/React literacy a plus) to communicate effectively with engineers.
  • Working knowledge of analytics and experimentation to inform iterations.
  • Familiarity with privacy, security, and compliance considerations that affect UX (consent, cookies, error states).
  • Excellent communication: can present work, explain trade-offs, and document decisions clearly.
  • Content & microcopy: craft clear UI text and collaborate with brand/copy partners for consistency.
  • Multi-surface design: responsive web, mobile web, and (as needed) native app patterns.
  • Quality bar: conduct design QA, file grooming, and maintain impeccable component hygiene.

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES, & OTHER CHARACTERISTICS (KSAO's)

  • Design & Prototyping: Figma (Auto-layout, variants, variables), FigJam, Sketch+, Adobe CC (Illustrator, Photoshop), After Effects+, Protopie+/Framer+
  • Design Systems: Figma libraries, tokens, Storybook+
  • Collaboration & Delivery: Jira/Confluence, Google Workspace
  • Frontend & Handoff: Figma Inspect, Git/GitHub basics+, React component libraries (e.g., MUI, Radix)+
  • Research & Testing: UserTesting+, Maze+, Hotjar/FullStory/Clarity, GA4, Optimizely/VWO+, Looker/Data Studio+
  • Content & Accessibility: Hemingway/Grammarly, Axe DevTools/Wave, Stark
  • CMS & E-commerce (bonus): Kontent.ai+, Shopify+
  • AI-Assisted Workflows: ChatGPT, Firefly+ for concepting and variant exploration

PREFERRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES, & OTHER CHARACTERISTICS (KSAO's)

  • Experience in consumer, retail, or B2B2C environments
  • Motion design for micro-interactions
  • Working with localization/internationalization
  • Basic SQL or product analytics familiarity
