RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client that is seeking a Senior Product Designer in Brooklyn, NY.
Summary:
As a Senior Product Designer, you'll tackle complex seller experience challenges, working both independently and alongside seasoned designers. You'll influence cross-functional teams and senior leadership, using user-centered design methods to deliver elegant, human-centric solutions. Your work will span from early concepting to high-fidelity execution, with a strong emphasis on prototyping and visual design.
Key Responsibilities:
* Senior Product Designer will collaborate with product managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to define vision and strategy
* Set interaction design standards and solve complex UX challenges
* Develop prototypes to communicate product strategy and influence priorities
* Apply strong soft skills-listening, negotiating, decision-making-to drive alignment
* Lead design thinking and innovation across short- and long-term horizons
* Present work to peers, share feedback, and seek input to unblock progress
* As a Senior Product Designer, you will engage with internal teams via public channels to gather insights and share learnings
* Experiment with UI in tools like Figma and FigJam
* Prioritize tasks effectively while navigating a fast-moving environment
REQUIREMENTS:
* 7+ years of professional experience in product design
* Experience with native mobile applications (iOS and Android) and platform-specific patterns
* Experience designing AI-powered tools or interfaces
* Proven success designing in complex or emerging problem spaces
* Strong visual design and prototyping skills
* Comfort working with machine learning, large language models (LLMs), and data-rich environments
* Customer-centric mindset with a focus on improving buyer and seller experiences
* Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
* Ability to think systemically and deliver scalable solutions
* Familiarity with e-commerce, mobile design, and AI-generated tools is a plus
Bonus Experience:
* Inventory systems or data quality improvement
* Service design and information architecture
* Leading workshops and aligning cross-functional teams around a shared vision
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
