As a System Administrator II, you will ensure that workstations and peripherals operate with optimal availability and reliability. You will be responsible for LAN administration, system installations, email administration, consulting services including specialized consulting for PLMI and the resolution of technical issues. Additionally, you will support staff and leadership in evaluating and making strategic Information Systems investments and decisions.

- Clearly and consistently communicates all desktop technology operational directions established for the enterprise.
- Consults on desktop applications and configurations to improve employee productivity.
- Troubleshoots software, hardware, protocol and workstations.
- Provides first and second level diagnostic Help Desk support for hardware, software, operating systems and peripherals.
- Recommends, designs, builds and supports PC workstations.
- Builds and maintains detailed workstation documentation including configuration of desktop software and impact of additions, deletions or upgrades to the workstation.
- Assumes responsibility for on going support requirements of the client area including responsibilities for all hardware components.
- Other duties as assigned.
Minimum qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include:
- High school diploma or GED
- Six months of information systems experience supporting small to mid-sized network (5-100)
- For Information Technology Division caregivers, ITIL Foundations certification is required within six months of position start date.
Preferred qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include:
- IT Related certification
- Previous healthcare experience

Physical Requirements:
- Will be required to frequently move, box, personal computers, 17' monitors, printers and peripherals up to 75 pounds via the use of a two-wheeled cart or dolly.
- May occasionally be required to transport equipment in personal vehicle.
- Requires normal or corrected vision, hearing and speech.
- Requires frequent standing, walking, sitting and manual dexterity to operate computer.
