SAIC is seeking an Enterprise Architecture Lead to join our energized team as we embark on a large DoD AI initiative.

The Enterprise Architecture (EA) Lead will assume a pivotal role in architecting, strategizing, designing, developing, and implementing solutions. This position will oversee all integration efforts into designated systems and subsystems. As the lead, the EA Lead will be responsible for coordinating product line teams across multiple locations and serving as the primary point of contact (POC) for all enterprise architecture related matters. Ensuring that any technologies integrated or developed align with the program baseline and fostering engagement with cutting-edge technology vendors and industry partners will be central to the role.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the architecture and design of solutions aligned with the organization's goals and objectives.
  • Develop secure and resilient technology architectures that cater to both current and future IT needs of the organization.
  • D esign and implement all necessary processes, roles, responsibilities, and documentation; conduct regular reviews and audits to ensure efficiency, effectiveness, and compliance.
  • Proactively recommend innovative IT solutions to enhance the design and operation of IT systems.
  • Translate logical designs into physical designs, considering business requirements, target environments, processes, performance requirements, existing systems, services, and potential safety-related aspects.
  • Work collaboratively with various stakeholders to ensure the enterprise architecture supports and integrates with other business processes.
  • Stay abreast of the latest technology trends and advancements to continually improve the enterprise architecture framework.
  • Engage with advanced technology vendors and maintain industry-wide reach for best solutions.
  • Ensure that technology architectures and solutions comply with all relevant policies, standards, and regulatory requirements.
  • Lead and mentor team members in the principles of enterprise architecture, promoting a culture of continuous learning and development.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications:
  • U.S. Citizenship is required
  • Active TS security clearance with SCI eligibility
  • Bachelor's degree and eighteen (18) years of experience in Engineering or similar discipline, Master's degree and sixteen (16) years of experience or PhD and fifteen (15) years of experience. Will consider additional years of experience in lieu of education
  • At least five years of experience in:
    • Data modeling, data engineering, feature engineering, data access, application development, model lifecycle management, and cloud infrastructure.
    • Utilizing the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) and agile software development practices.
    • Data visualization using Python or similar programming languages.
    • Engaging multiple stakeholders in industry for rapid software development advancements.

Desired Qualifications:
  • Minimum five years of experience in:
  • Supervised and unsupervised deep learning algorithms (e.g., CNN, RNN, GRU) and deep learning packages (TensorFlow, Keras, Pytorch, Caffe, Theano).
  • Proficient development skills in programming languages such as Go, Python, Java, Scala, C++.
  • Relevant experience in IC, military, or other Government environments in a role i n a capacity related to the EA Engineering Lead.

Target salary range: More than $225,000. The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
