Description

We are looking for an experienced Systems Administrator to join our team in San Jose, California. This Contract-to-Permanent position offers an exciting opportunity to manage and optimize critical systems, ensuring high availability and security across the organization. The ideal candidate will bring expertise in server administration, virtualization technologies, and system documentation.

Responsibilities:
Administer and maintain Windows servers, ensuring optimal performance and uptime.
Manage VMware infrastructure, including configuration and monitoring of hypervisors.
Oversee Active Directory operations, including user account creation, group policies, and security protocols.
Perform routine system patching and updates to safeguard against vulnerabilities.
Build and deploy new servers to support organizational needs.
Document system configurations, processes, and procedures for reference and compliance.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address technical challenges and implement solutions.
Provide technical support for Citrix and Dell technologies as required.
Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues to ensure seamless operation.

Requirements

Minimum of 5 years of experience in systems administration.
Proficiency in managing Active Directory and Microsoft Windows Server environments.
Hands-on experience with VMware infrastructure and hypervisor technologies.
Familiarity with Microsoft Windows 10 operating systems.
Knowledge of Citrix and Dell technologies.
Strong skills in server patching, building, and documentation.
Ability to troubleshoot and resolve system performance issues.
Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
