Description

We are looking for a skilled Desktop Support Analyst to join our team in New London, Connecticut. This is a Contract to permanent position, offering an excellent opportunity to grow while contributing to a dynamic environment. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in computer hardware and software support, combined with exceptional customer service skills.

Responsibilities:
Install, configure, and maintain computer hardware and software across the organization.
Respond promptly to IT service tickets, analyzing and resolving complex technical issues to ensure user satisfaction.
Document resolutions and maintain detailed records to support knowledge sharing and process improvement.
Collaborate with other IT teams to address challenges that extend beyond the scope of the support team.
Supervise and mentor IT Service Desk student employees when necessary, providing leadership and high-level assistance.
Perform routine maintenance on the organization's computer fleet to ensure optimal functionality.
Contribute to team development by sharing knowledge, fostering collaboration, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives.
Adhere to and update organizational policies to align with best practices and compliance standards.
Engage in skill development by attending conferences, webinars, and networking with peers.
Participate in campus activities and events to support the broader mission of the organization.

Requirements

Associate's degree in Information Technology or equivalent work experience; a Bachelor's degree is preferred.
One to three years of experience providing systems support in a detail-oriented or educational setting.
Proficiency in computer hardware (desktops, laptops, monitors, docking stations) and software (Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, Windows, MacOS).
Familiarity with device management systems such as Intune, Jamf Pro, or Kandji.
Strong attention to detail with proven ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues accurately.
Excellent communication skills, including the ability to explain complex technical concepts to users with varying levels of expertise.
Demonstrated ability to manage time effectively, prioritize tasks, and work both independently and collaboratively.
Multicultural competence, with the ability to work effectively with diverse individuals and teams.
