General Summary:

Successful candidate will be part of the Adreno Graphics HW Program Management team, providing full line of GPU solutions integrated in Qualcomm Snapdragon products and will be primary responsible for driving GPU Compiler programs

Principal Duties and Responsibilities:
Communicate project status to multi-functional teams and executive management.
Create an efficient and accountable development environment through process development and improvements.
Strong foundational program management skills including risk management, tracking and monitoring, meeting facilitation, domain expertise, time management, and problem-solving skills
Manage/Lead/Collaborate GPU Compiler development programs and deliveries through product life cycle (from architecture to commercialization) across different BU's (Business units)
Support/Manage/Track GPU Compiler Engineering deliverables & initiatives, working closely with GPU HW/SW Engineering and Product Management teams
Organize and lead cross-functional team meetings across multiple time zones , geographies and diverse technical fields to develop project schedules, resource plan, functional team key performance metrics and overall project plans of records
Troubleshoot program issues and helps to develop alternative program tasks, schedules, milestones, resource plans, processes etc. to resolve program issues and conflicts
Determine risks, develop mitigation strategies and communicate information to internal and external key stakeholders.
Responsive and keen on process improvement to drive development efficiency, accountability and documentations
Think strategically and tactically to build consensus and collaborative teamwork

Minimum Qualifications:

5+ years in the following areas required:
Hands-on experience with SW/Compiler/FW design and/or system modeling development with a later career emphasis on program management of those disciplines.
Exposure with ASIC design and IP development process
Experience with SW/Compiler SDLC
Experience with Waterfall and Agile project management methodologies
Experience with project schedule and resource management tools, advanced Excel, power-point
Please note this is not a IT Program/Project Manager position

Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with multi-tasking on multi-projects with tight deadlines in order to understand, facilitate and guide a variety of disciplines (System Engineering, SW driver, Compiler, Firmware, Product Management, etc..)
Effective Communication skills, technical project presentations and teamwork skills
Ability to learn and adapt quickly
Detail and action oriented, self-starter, leader, delegator and motivator.
Experience and background in Graphics technology including OpenGL/Vulkan/OpenCL/DX/DirectML APIs, Extensions: Andreno-GPU (OpenGL, Vulkan, OpenCL)
Knowledge of operating systems (Linux Android, Windows OS), software development standard methodologies
Experience with Atlassian tools (JIRA, Confluence)
Familiarity with standard software development methodologies including source control (Git, Gerrit, Perforce, etc.. )

Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
4+ years of Program Management or related work experience.

Pay range and Other Compensation & Benefits:
$154,400.00 - $231,600.00

The above pay scale reflects the broad, minimum to maximum, pay scale for this job code for the location for which it has been posted. Even more importantly, please note that salary is only one component of total compensation at Qualcomm.
