Position: SAP Technical Architect (BTP / AI / ML)

About the Role:
We are seeking a seasoned SAP BTP Architect to lead the design and implementation of innovative, scalable enterprise solutions leveraging SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP).
The ideal candidate will bring deep expertise in SAP Plant Maintenance (PM), Personnel Administration (PA), and Environment, Health & Safety (EHS) modules along with strong experience in AI-driven and intelligent automation within SAP environments.
This is a senior architecture leadership role, requiring hands-on technical depth, strategic vision, and the ability to define and drive architectural standards across complex SAP landscapes.
Key Responsibilities:
Design and architect scalable solutions on SAP BTP integrated with core SAP modules (PM, PA, EHS).
Leverage AI/ML capabilities within SAP to automate workflows, enhance analytics, and enable intelligent decision-making.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration between SAP and non-SAP systems.
Define and enforce architecture standards, best practices, and reusable frameworks for BTP implementations.
Provide technical leadership throughout design, development, and implementation phases.
Govern security, performance, and scalability aspects of BTP-based applications.
Required Skills & Experience:
10+ years of total SAP experience with at least 3+ years in SAP BTP.
Proven expertise in Plant Maintenance (PM), Personnel Administration (PA), and EHS modules.
Hands-on experience with SAP Cloud Foundry, CAP (Cloud Application Programming), Fiori/UI5, and Integration Suite.
Strong knowledge of event-driven architecture, APIs, and data modeling on BTP.
Demonstrated experience with AI/ML enablement in SAP solutions.
Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and leadership skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
SAP BTP or AI/ML certifications.
Experience developing S/4HANA extensions using BTP.
Familiarity with IoT, predictive maintenance, or digital twin solutions in manufacturing environments.
