Overview:

The Junior Architect will support the design and implementation of enterprise-level IT solutions.

This role involves working closely with senior architects, product owners, and various IT teams to ensure that the architecture aligns with business goals and objectives.

The ideal candidate should have strong technical and analytical skills, excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the development and implementation of standards, procedures, and processes for enterprise systems.
  • Collaborate with product owners to understand desired application capabilities and present end-to-end business solutions.
  • Support the creation and maintenance of software systems documentation.
  • Ensure architectural integrity and continuity across applications.
  • Participate in the design and development of software solutions, adhering to standard systems architecture and processes.
  • Gain experience with Agile Framework, DevOps, and CI/CD software development methods.
  • Work with micro-services partners and object-oriented design.

Skills and Experience Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, specializing in Software, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • 3-5 years of experience in software development or IT architecture.
  • Familiarity with enterprise architecture frameworks and methodologies.
  • Understanding of IPv4 and IPv6 addressing, subnetting, and CIDR (Classless Inter-Domain Routing).
  • Advanced understanding of cloud-based resources (e.g., Azure, AWS).
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
  • Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and methodologies.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with Agile Framework, DevOps, and CI/CD software development methods.
  • Knowledge of micro-services architecture and object-oriented design.
  • Certification in enterprise architecture frameworks (e.g., TOGAF).
