SAP PI/PO & CPI Integration Consultant EDI / IBM DataPower

Location: Palm Beach Gardens, FL
Duration: 12+ Months Experience Required: 6 8+ Years


Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced SAP PI/PO & SAP CPI Integration Consultant with strong expertise in EDI integrations and IBM WebSphere DataPower / API Connect. The consultant will design, develop, and secure B2B and enterprise integrations, supporting SAP and non-SAP systems while ensuring high availability, security, and performance.


Essential Skills & Responsibilities

SAP PI/PO & CPI Integration

  • Design and develop SAP PI/PO 7.5 and SAP CPI (Integration Suite) solutions for secure EDI communication

  • Implement and manage Trading Partner Management (TPM) for B2B integrations

  • Develop and maintain mappings using:

    • Graphical Mapping

    • XSLT

    • Java Mapping

    • Message Mapping (PI/PO & CPI)

  • Configure and manage transport-level security (SSL) and message-level encryption/decryption

  • Utilize PI/PO and CPI adapters and connectivity options including:

    • AS2

    • REST / SOAP

    • IDoc / RFC

    • JDBC

    • FTPS / SFTP

  • Maintain comprehensive documentation for integrations, migrations, and security configurations


IBM WebSphere / API Management Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain conceptual architecture and technical blueprints for the IBM API Connect landscape

  • Define operational requirements for system management and monitoring

  • Establish security standards and options for API Connect and DataPower integrations

  • Determine monitoring scope for WebSphere runtime components

  • Define logical integration models and best-practice frameworks for:

    • Error handling

    • Alerting and exception management

  • Define and execute unit testing and regression testing strategies

  • Establish and enforce WebSphere service naming standards

  • Perform configuration, deployment, and maintenance of WebSphere and API services


Competencies

  • EDI Electronic Data Interchange

  • IBM WebSphere DataPower Appliance


Preferred Skills

  • Experience working in complex enterprise B2B integration landscapes

  • Strong understanding of API security, governance, and lifecycle management

  • Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and external partners
