Job Title: Windows Risk Remediation Engineer
Location: Remote (Must reside in PA, DE, DC, or NJ)
Employment Type: Full-Time
Salary: $70,000 $75,000 per annum
Work Hours: Monday Friday, 8:00 AM 4:30 PM ET (with on-call availability)


Job Summary:

We are seeking a Windows Risk Remediation Engineer to join our IT security and operations team. The ideal candidate will have strong technical expertise in Active Directory, Intune, SCCM, and vulnerability remediation, with a focus on securing Windows environments and delivering excellent support to end users.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform vulnerability assessment and remediation across Windows environments.

  • Manage and configure AD, Intune, SCCM, and Windows OS systems.

  • Coordinate patching, updates, and compliance efforts using Ivanti and other tools.

  • Provide remote and on-site technical support to resolve system or security issues.

  • Track and manage tickets through ServiceNow.

  • Develop Excel-based reports to summarize remediation progress and compliance status.

  • Collaborate with IT security, infrastructure, and operations teams to ensure system integrity and availability.

  • Participate in on-call rotation as required.


Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Strong hands-on experience with Active Directory, Intune, SCCM, Windows OS, ServiceNow, and Ivanti.

  • Proven expertise in vulnerability remediation and endpoint security.

  • Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.

  • Proficiency in Excel reporting and documentation.

  • Strong communication and customer service skills.

  • Ability to work independently and manage priorities effectively.
