Description
SAIC has an immediate opening for a mid to senior level Network Engineer. We are looking for someone to join our established team of dedicated network engineers supporting a wide range of customers. The Network Engineer must be a self-starter who is able to solve complex problems with minimal supervision. You should also work well as part of a team, and once enough experience is gained, be able to mentor aspiring Network Engineers. You should also have direct hands-on experience with WAN/LAN routing protocols, firewall and/or security products, network troubleshooting, and equipment O&M. Prior experience with both GOTS and COTS encryption products would be a plus.

Duties will include:
- Working primarily with Cisco Networking Gear
- Design, Implement and Maintain High Priority WAN/MAN/LANs
- Develop secure solutions to Customer Requests
- Serve as a trusted advisor for the government customer
Qualifications
- Must currently hold an Active TS/SCI with Poly
- Minimum of 14 years of relevant technical experience
- Bachelor's Degree, although experience can be substituted for the degree
- Active CCNP certification
- Be able to support proper separation between customers by use of MPLS VPNS and Ethernet over MPLS
- Be able to support implementation of Dynamic Multi-point Virtual Private Networks (DMVPNs), IP Sec, and Layer 2 Tunneling Protocols
