Title: Lab Technician

Location: Onsite 100%

Hire Type: 100% Full time

Role :

• Hands On support in lab for running Experiments - chemistry type - collecting data and putting it together for team to view the results
• Need Immediate candidates to be available for this role
• 75% lab- 25% Desk work

Mandate:

Examples of experiments

• Inspections of parts of different materials like glass (different types of glass) under Microscope- r- documenting each type - more chemistry based experiments - what acid to use type of knowledge
• Experience Level : How to use type of understanding of different lab tools, safety first Attitude etc

• Degree in Chemistry is needed.
• Having worked in lab and aware of general lab safety practices etc - atleast 2 years of experience to do experiments on their own with no guidance.
• specialized things like SEM Analysis on Electron Microscope, Hydrofluoric Acid related experiments
• Experienced to handle delicate parts carefully.

Onsite 5 Days a week is a must and timing will be Std 8 to 5 but flexible depending on the work priorities

• Strong understanding of lab safety practices, especially as it relates to wet chemistry
• Ability to work independently and communicate with scientists and engineers to provide status updates
• Ability to work with a microscope, sometimes for hours at a time
• Ability to handle delicate parts, often times with tweezers
• Experience in assembling experimental setups with full or minimal instructions (ex: vacuum or pressure vessels)
• Willingness to learn and master new analytical and other lab techniques
• Lots of patience
• Constant attention to detail, and recording of observations when needed
• Not afraid to ask questions
• Ability to execute defined processes without deviation, but also look for improvements in processes and tools
