Title: Data Architect Google Cloud Platform (Google Cloud Platform)

Location: Remote
Duration: Long-Term Contract

Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Data Architect with strong expertise in Google Cloud Platform, specifically BigQuery, Cloud Storage, and Dataflow. The ideal candidate will design, build, and optimize cloud-based data solutions and ensure scalable, secure, and high-performance data architecture. Familiarity with Informatica for data integration and ETL workflows is required.

Responsibilities:

  • Architect and implement end-to-end data solutions on Google Cloud Platform

  • Design and optimize data pipelines using BigQuery, Cloud Storage, and Dataflow

  • Support data ingestion, transformation, and integration processes

  • Collaborate with cross-functional technical and business teams

  • Ensure best practices in data modeling, architecture, security, and governance

  • Troubleshoot performance issues and support production environments

Required Skills:

  • Strong hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform (BigQuery, Cloud Storage, Dataflow)

  • Proven experience designing scalable data architectures

  • Knowledge of ETL technologies and data integration

  • Working familiarity with Informatica

  • Strong SQL and data modeling experience

  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with CI/CD for data pipelines

  • Experience migrating data to Google Cloud Platform from on-prem or other cloud platforms
