Full Stack Java Developer (Hybrid Atlanta, GA)
We are seeking a Full Stack Java Developer to support and enhance Java-based applications for Local Government Services. The role includes requirements gathering, development, debugging, testing, and preparing implementation specifications,with a focus on delivering secure and maintainable solutions.
Position Requirements
Education: Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
Experience:
- Location: Atlanta, GA (Century Parkway NE )
- Work Schedule: Hybrid 1 day on-site per week
- Employment Type: Contract / Contract-to-Hire

Position Requirements
- This position follows a hybrid work model, requiring on-site presence in Atlanta, GA one day per week.
- Local candidates preferred (Metro Atlanta).
- Must be able to pass a Public Trust Background Check.
- Design, develop, test, modify, and debug applications that integrate with Java-based systems.
- Research, analyze, and resolve system issues individually or within a team.
- Create detailed program documentation and implementation specifications.
- Translate business requirements into secure, maintainable development tasks.
- Communicate effectively with business users to resolve support inquiries.
- Stay current with emerging technologies as part of modernization initiatives.
Education: Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
Experience:
- Minimum 2 years in software development with Java, JavaScript, J2SE, J2EE, Struts, and Spring frameworks.
- Minimum 2 years in web development using Tomcat, XML, XSL Stylesheets, Web Services, Oracle Databases, and SSL Certificates.
- Tools: Strong working knowledge of Eclipse, BIRT Reports, TOAD, SQL Developer, Azure DevOps, Git.
- Soft Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, proactive mindset, and effective communication in team settings.
- Familiarity with modern development productivity tools.
- Ability to work independently while contributing to team success.
- Strong initiative and willingness to learn new technologies.
- Local candidates strongly preferred.
