Data Quality Analyst

Job Summary:

Dexian is seeking a Data Quality Analyst for an opportunity with a client located in Glen Allen, VA.

Responsibilities:

• Working with business partners to understand data quality standards, policies, and procedures to ensure data integrity


• Understand advantages/disadvantages of various data profiling tools and be able to translate those capabilities to business partners


• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand and define data quality requirements and metrics


• Provide training and support to end-users data quality best practices and tools


• Develop and maintain documentation related to data quality processes

Requirements:

• Experience working as a BA/Data Analyst in a Data warehouse/Data governance platform


• Strong analytical and problem solving skills


• Proficiency in SQL, data analysis, and data visualization tools


• Critical thinking


• Ability to understand and examine complex datasets


• Ability to interpret Data quality results and metrics


• Knowledge of Data quality standards and processes


• Basic understanding of what Data quality means and various ways one can measure quality of data


• Proven experience in a Data Quality Analyst or similar role


• Experience with data quality tools such as Informatica, Power Curve, or Collibra DQ is preferred
