Job Details

We are seeking a Part-Time Field Technician to support our kiosk systems and related technologies. This dynamic, hands-on role is ideal for someone who thrives in fast-paced, customer-facing environments. The candidate will be responsible for supporting our product by acting as the liaison between the customer and other internal teams.

Main responsibilities:
  • Perform on-site repairs and maintenance of airport kiosks.
  • Provide immediate technical support and troubleshooting for deployed systems.
  • Collaborate with Level 3 Support Teams in Canada and Atlanta.
  • Deliver high-quality, customer-focused service and act as a key liaison between clients and internal teams.
  • Identify opportunities to streamline support processes and improve service delivery.
  • Deliver training to customers when required.
Basic Requirements
  • Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience in hardware support.
  • Strong understanding of PC networking and protocols (e.g., TCP/IP, AD, DHCP, DNS).
  • Experience in configuration and troubleshooting of J2EE, web servers, and Windows desktop environments.
  • Proficiency in Office 365 and working knowledge of Oracle/SQL databases.
  • Strong customer service orientation with the ability to represent Embross professionally on-site.
  • Proactive approach with a strong sense of ownership and accountability.
Education & Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in computer engineering, Computer Science, or a related field is a plus, but not required
  • Membership in a recognized international professional body is an asset.

This role is based out of the Phoenix airport area. Although this is a part-time job, it is anticipated that the job will require approximately 15-22 hours per week. Weekend on-call of 4 hours (2 hours Saturday and 2 hours Sunday) is paid each week, as well as any hours recorded Monday - Friday.
