Job Summary:
A regional professional services organization is seeking a Project Manager Innovation to support a portfolio of technology and process improvement initiatives. This role is responsible for leading and coordinating cross-functional project teams to ensure the successful delivery of innovation-driven projects. The position serves as a key technical liaison between internal stakeholders, external vendors, and project teams, aligning project outcomes with organizational strategy.
Key Responsibilities:
Define program goals and objectives in alignment with the organization's strategic direction.
Establish program governance frameworks and key performance indicators (KPIs).
Serve as the lead project manager for a portfolio of technology and process innovation projects.
Coordinate and manage project timelines, deliverables, risks, and issues across multiple implementations.
Develop and maintain project documentation, including charters, plans, and status reports.
Facilitate collaboration between IT teams, vendors, legal and administrative departments, and executive stakeholders.
Track resource utilization and perform capacity planning using resource management tools.
Ensure quality control, performance, security, and compliance standards are maintained throughout project execution.
Partner with change management teams to support user adoption of new technologies and processes.
Participate in business case development and scope definition for new project initiatives.
Lead regular status meetings and track project progress, escalating and resolving issues as necessary.
Travel up to 25 days per year may be required for onsite project work.
Minimum Education & Experience Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent required.
Bachelor s degree or formal project management certification (PMP, CAPM, etc.) preferred.
Minimum of five (5) years of experience in technical or project leadership roles; experience in a legal or professional services environment is a plus.
Proven experience managing projects from initiation through execution using formal project management methodologies.
Special Requirements:
PMP, CAPM, or other project management certifications preferred.
Experience working with resource management tools for reporting and planning preferred.

Excellent attention to detail and technical documentation skills.
Effective verbal and written communication across technical and non-technical audiences.
Strong organizational, planning, and follow-up abilities.
Demonstrated experience working both independently and collaboratively within teams.
Ability to adapt to shifting priorities and maintain composure under pressure.
Familiarity with change management and process improvement strategies.
Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities with a focus on innovation.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools including MS Project, Excel, Word, and Visio.

Familiarity with enterprise-level IT systems and vendor management practices.
Strong facilitation and meeting leadership skills.
Ability to influence stakeholders and navigate organizational dynamics effectively.
