Job Description
U.S. Bank is seeking the position of Lead Software Engineer - Full Stack in Chicago, Illinois.
Essential Responsibilities:
Job Duties: The Lead Software Engineer - Full Stack will be responsible for the analysis, design, testing, development and maintenance of best in class software experiences. Understand requirements by establishing personal rapport with stakeholders as well as cross functional full stack software engineers to design and develop highly secure and scalable enterprise authentication solutions. Analyze various frameworks for implementing complex application problems. Implement solutions based on artificial intelligence. Perform proof of concept. Document and present technology architecture solution. Write programs by encoding project requirements using J2EE, Java, Spring boot, JavaScript, Python, React, etc. to enter coded
information into the computer and execute unit tests to make sure code works as per specifications. Push the unit tested code to the appropriate version control. Develop software applications in JavaScript React including component design and state management for specific use cases. Utilize JavaScript and JavaScript React framework for front-end development. Perform in-depth diagnosis, troubleshooting, resolution and unit testing with both new and legacy production systems. Conduct code reviews with the lens of quality and value including code quality, acceptance criteria, business logic, test coverage and aligned to overall architecture. Deploy and support software in container-based production environment. Conduct J2EE web application backend development using Spring MVC, Spring boot, spring framework. Conduct frontend development using JavaScript, ReactJS and CSS. Web development using Cloud Native Architecture. Design solutions based on Artificial intelligence (AI) tools and frameworks such as lang chain and Azure OpenAI. Conducting end-to-end production deployments in container-based Kubernetes environment. Position may allow working from home within commuting distance of worksite location. Multiple positions.
Basic Qualifications:
Requirements: Requires a Bachelor's degree (or foreign equivalent) in Computer Engineering or Computer Science, plus 5 years of progressive post-baccalaureate experience as a Software Engineer, Consultant, Technology Lead, or related.
Required Skills/Experience:
Must possess 5 years of experience with each of the following: developing Java-J2EE based client/server applications; agile and scrum methodologies; J2EE web application backend development using Spring MVC, Spring boot and spring framework; web development using Cloud Native Architecture; JavaScript and JavaScript React framework for front-end development; JUnit unit testing framework for Java test-driven development; deploying and supporting software in container based production environment; Java; J2EE; CSS; JUnit; Gitlab; Spring, Spring MVC; Spring boot; React; API gateway; Python; ReactJS; and Kubernetes. Position may allow working from home within commuting distance of worksite location.
