Job Details
Seeking a technical support specialist for great opportunity within the medical industry. Position will be 100% remote, but must work WEST COAST hours 8-5. This will be a level 1 role, as part of a technical support center supporting medical devices and medical systems. A technical background and strong problem skills will be necessary.
Responsibilities
- Provide remote troubleshooting for software, hardware and network related issues for external customers
- Collaborate with internal and external groups on solving more complex technical issues
- Document problems in knowledge database
- Maintain a high level of success with the team's Key Performance Indicators
Required Skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, excellent phone manner.
- Able to work in fast-paced, team environment.
- Ability to make independent decisions based on interpretation of technology data and product knowledge.
- Excellent organizational and multi-tasking skills.
- Working knowledge of Windows OS (Microsoft Server 2012, 2016, 2019, 2022+)
- Experience with Networking
- Knowledge of Relational Databases (SQL Server or Oracle)
Desired
- Knowledge of Medical Device software, particularly radiology related
- Experience with clinical data transfer protocols and interfaces (HL7 and DICOM)
- VMware
