RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client in Saint Louis, MO that is seeking a Senior Data Visualization Specialist.
Responsibilities:
* Independently develops attractive visuals and wireframes that describe data and conveys information in an easily understandable format
* Leverages leading BI visualization toolsets and focuses heavily on the PowerBI toolset
* Converts and modifies, with minimal assistance, SQL queries to convey the appropriate message to business subject matter experts
* Leverages industry standard user experience principles
* Provides feedback and recommendations to data experts on the best way to tell the data's story
* Translates structured and unstructured data into actionable stories
* Manages complex data sets and concepts into simple and meaningful visualizations
* Leverages data science tools to augment the data's story and convey predictive and prescriptive stories
* Mentors junior staff
* Actively works in design and development of infographics and visualizations
* Builds data visualization using tools and techniques, wireframes, databases
* Designs and develops visualizations for analytics and business users
* Transforms complex concepts into actionable and meaningful visualizations
* Leads the project independently
* Leads system data and analytics (SDA) project team to guide and deliver analytics
* Drives the projects towards insights driven analytics and enables business insights and workflows
* Utilizes data science tools, analytics delivery
* Provides guidance and training to less experienced staff
* Performs other duties as assigned
REQUIREMENTS:
* Bachelor's degree
* 6 years of experience
* To be considered for this position, candidates must have experience in a similar role, or they must possess significant knowledge, experience, and abilities to successfully perform the responsibilities listed
* Relevant education and/or training will be considered a plus
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
Note: Pay is not considered compensation until it is earned, vested and determinable. The amount and availability of any compensation remains in Kforce's sole discretion unless and until paid and may be modified in its discretion consistent with the law.
