We specialize in delivering world-class Digital Product Engineering, Data Management and Analytics, and Staffing Solutions services to Fortune companies, SMBs, ISVs, and fast-growing startups.
Description of responsibilities:
We're looking for someone to join our Communications, Organizational Learning and Benchmarking (COLaB) team who is a strong writer with a passion for helping people learn. Ideally, you have experience designing and building job aids and references, as well as designing materials that support Instructor-Led Training, Virtual Instructor-Led Training, and e-learning solutions.
Our team develops and maintains training programs for engineers, operations managers, and process improvement specialists at Client.com. We are seeking technical expertise to help us build interactive solutions for on-the-job training and organizational interventions; however, we also need your thoughtful communication and people-skills. We are looking for a writer and self-driven learner who can dive deep into complex content about our tools, systems, and organizational needs, and then think through the best way to help other people learn and develop new competencies.
You must be able to:
-Collaborate effectively with subject matter experts to define learning objectives.
-Perform needs analysis and evaluate existing documentation to identify the most appropriate training approach and content to meet the demands of the learning objectives and audience.
-Plan and write content for training programs using instructional and distribution methods (online, classroom or blended) that best suit the content.
-Create engaging and valid trainee evaluation tools that prove successful knowledge transfer.
-Build processes and templates to minimize the development time for new training materials, and to help others participate in our development cycle.
- Help maintain existing programs to ensure the content remains complete and relevant
Requirements:
The ideal candidate will be comfortable in a fast-paced, multi-tasked, high energy environment. They will be a creative and analytical problem solver with a passion for helping people learn and for finding simple ways to convey complex ideas. 3-6 years of relevant experience.
You have some or all of the following: knowledge and application of instructional theories, adult learning, on the job learning, knowledge management theories, and principles in both on-line and classroom instruction. Alternately, if you have experience as a technical writer and background in any educational environment, and a desire and aptitude to learn about instructional design, you may be the right person for our team. Either way, you have excellent organizational and interpersonal skills, and the ability to work independently.
Additional experience and competencies that are strongly preferred include:
Fluency in all Microsoft Office applications, HTML and Photoshop
Experience using e-learning software, such as Articulate or Captivate
Proven competence using a Learning Management System (LMS)
