Description: Our client is currently seeking a Wireless Telecom Equipment Engineer in West Nyack, NY
This job will have the following responsibilities:
- Responsible for Engineering and Design support of all equipment for multiple project types.
- Supporting the equipment engineering team with equipment order logistics.
- Creating Material Requests.
- Forecast future needs based on project start dates.
- Ensure proper tracking of all components.
- Monitor all equipment expenditures.
- Prepare purchase orders and ensure vendor payment.
- Equipment Procurement & Optimization.
- Oversee equipment receipt and acceptance
Qualifications & Requirements:
- MUST HAVE SKILLS (Most Important):
- 5-7 Years experience in telecommunication industry with focus on implementation and equipment engineering
- Experience with Fuze, SPM, Field Class, Equipment Orders, Purchase Orders
- Experience with working with third party telecom logistics companies
- Experience with ordering equipment such as antennas, power systems, fiber optic cables etc.
- Strong Project Management and Communication skills with the ability to work closely with Team members.
- Proven ability to work in a fast paced, high pressure, environment with ease
