Position: Business Analyst - DAM platforms
Location: Bay Area, CA (Hybrid - Only Locals)
Duration: 6+ months contract

Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Business Analyst with proven expertise in Digital Asset Management (DAM) platforms. The ideal candidate will collaborate with business stakeholders, technical teams, and vendors to gather requirements, define workflows, and ensure successful implementation and optimization of DAM solutions.

Responsibilities:

  • Partner with business and IT stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into functional specifications.
  • Analyze, design, and document workflows, metadata structures, taxonomies, and governance processes for DAM platforms.
  • Support the integration of DAM with enterprise systems (e.g., CMS, PIM, Marketing platforms).
  • Conduct gap analysis and propose solutions to improve content lifecycle management.
  • Manage and prioritize product backlogs, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
  • Facilitate workshops, UAT sessions, and training for end users.
  • Ensure DAM platform adoption, compliance, and alignment with business objectives.

Mandatory Skills:

  • Proven experience as a Business Analyst with a focus on Digital Asset Management (DAM) platforms.
  • Strong knowledge of asset lifecycle management, metadata models, and taxonomies.
  • Experience with requirement gathering, documentation, and process mapping.
  • Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and problem-solving skills.
