Job Description:

Responsibilities:
  • Client 8+ years of experience in Major Data Center Colo Build and IT infrastructure build.
  • Client Experience in Data Center structured Cabling and supervise all Cabling following industry standard best practices and the design provided.
  • Client Manage and supervise DC structured cabling work, Fiber Optics cabling, power cabling and rack installation.
  • Client Manage and check Data Center facilities, including space, power, and cooling infrastructure to ensure the Normal Operations of all Managed Compute Devices.
  • Client has Extensive understanding, documentation, and experience on the below.
  • Client DC Risk Assessment: Identify and assess risks associated with-
  • Client External threats.
  • Client Internal threats.
  • Client Natural hazards.
  • Client Environmental Threats.
  • Client Telecom: MPOE, MMR, MDFs, Cross Connects, Risers/Conduits, 2N, N+1 configuration, PPM.
  • Client Electrical: Power Feeds to DC, Transformers, Generators, UPS, Battery Banks, , 2N, N+1 configuration, PPM.
  • Client Mechanical: Chillers, CRAC/CRAH, Lead Detection, Fire Protection, Cooling, Ground protection/Lightning Arrestor.
  • Client Physical Security: Perimeter, Inside DC, Access control.
  • Client DC COL Client: Architecture, Rack Elevation, Rack, Stack, Cable, Label, Decom.
  • Client Perform Data Center survey and rack placement as per the drawing.
  • Client Unpacking, unboxing, and inspection of the equipment for physical damage before installation, and make necessary arrangements for return of damaged equipment.
  • Client should handle managing build team and helping them to understand technical requirements.
  • Client Hardware Troubleshooting, upgrades or replacements.
  • Client Experience in the following technologies is advantage.
  • Client Computing and Networking (LAN, WAN, ).
  • Client Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery Planning.
  • Client: Microsoft Windows and Linux Operating Systems.
Certifications Desired:
  • Added Advantage.
  • Client Data Center certifications IDCA DCES, DCIE, CCDP.
  • Client ITIL V3 Certification.
Education:
  • Client Bachelor's degree or equivalent from a reputed university.
