IT Support Analyst Vancouver, BC, Canada

Contract to hire | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

  • Act as the first line of support for IT issues (hardware, software, networking, accounts, and applications).
  • Support onboarding and offboarding, including laptop setup (Windows & Mac), account provisioning, and training.
  • Provide high-touch support for executives and priority users.
  • Maintain, configure, and troubleshoot laptops, mobile devices, video conferencing equipment, and office IT systems.
  • Escalate complex issues to Level 3/Global IT when needed, ensuring timely resolution.
  • Manage tickets through the IT Service Desk while meeting SLA and quality standards.
  • Assist with inventory management (laptops, peripherals, and software licenses).
  • Contribute to IT documentation, SOPs, and knowledge base articles.
  • Participate in IT projects such as security rollouts, office upgrades, and global initiatives.

Essential Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, information security, or equivalent work experience
  • Minimum 6+ years of experience in the IT industry
  • Minimum 5+ years of Windows and Mac System Administration experience
  • Understanding of load balancing, TCP/IP, and basic networking skills (IP, DNS, HTTP)
  • Minimum 3+ years of experience managing enterprise productivity and collaboration systems such as Microsoft O365, Google Workspace, Slack, Zoom, and Enterprise Device Management Platforms.
  • Fluent in English

Desirable Requirements

  • Experience with parsing and scripting languages such as Powershell, VBScript, SQL Scripting, and Python
  • 1+ years of hands-on cloud experience (AWS or Azure preferred), including cross-region deployment
