Title: Sr Software Engineer
Location: Englewood, CO (80112) / Hybrid
Employment Type: 9 Month W2 Contract (No C2C or Sponsorship)
Job Description:
Talent Groups is seeking a Sr Software Engineer to join one of our clients, a rapidly growing technology provider serving the construction industry. This is a 9 month contract role with the potential for extension.
The ideal candidate will have strong experience with .NET and TypeScript, with additional exposure to Vue.js preferred. You will collaborate with Engineering and Product teams to enhance product functionality while supporting internal systems maintenance. This role requires strong technical skills, adaptability to shifting priorities, and a commitment to writing high quality, maintainable code in a collaborative environment.
Key Responsibilities
Define and execute development plans for features and system upgrades
Contribute to engineering initiatives that improve product quality and developer experience
Support team members through code reviews, mentoring, and pair programming
Break down complex tasks into manageable components
Collaborate with cross functional teams to clarify requirements and align on objectives
Communicate clearly, respectfully, and openly while embracing feedback and diverse perspectives
Help reduce technical debt while improving system scalability and maintainability
Write clean, extensible, and performant code
Work independently on complex projects and assist with onboarding or mentoring junior engineers
Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications
5+ years of professional software engineering experience with .NET
Proven ability to work independently and deliver high quality, scalable solutions
Strong collaboration and communication skills
Comfortable working in agile and iterative development environments
Proficiency in one or more of the following: back end, web, or mobile development
