Remote role

Designs, develops, and implements application infrastructure to provide highly-complex, reliable, and scalable applications and systems to meet the organization s objectives and requirements in a specialized industry. Supports solution development and Technology/Architecture selection activities and assesses technical architecture. Provides specifications for physical components, hardware, and software.

Required tasks to fulfill primary responsibility:

  • Guide teams from a hands-on technical approach with the development of code, integrations, data conversions, and other technical activities in the course of each given sprint. (.NET, C#, Javascript)
  • Provide peer review of development work completed by state staff or contracts on the product team.
  • Update work items, raise blockers, and collaborate with scrum masters and contract staff.

  • Create and write solid, detailed technical features and user stories (aka "enablers" for technical roadmap)
  • Prioritize Ecosystem feature/user story backlog.
  • Ensure compliance with digital accessibility regulations and requirements bys:
    • Prioritizing accessibility when designing, developing, and managing digital products
    • Managing accessibility as a compliance-level concern in product development
    • Requiring support for accessibility in development resources, e.g., frameworks, code libraries, design systems
  • Work with the scrum masters to stay within sprint goals
  • Participate in scrum ceremonies, give and receive regular feedback, and surface areas for improvement
