Description
We are looking for a dedicated Analyst in Supply Planning to join our team in Irvine, California. In this role, you will play a key part in optimizing supply chain processes, contributing to strategic initiatives, and delivering actionable insights. This is a long-term contract position offering an opportunity to grow within a dynamic and collaborative environment.
Responsibilities:
Develop and maintain supply chain plans to ensure optimal inventory levels and forecast accuracy.
Analyze data to identify trends and provide actionable recommendations for improving planning processes.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including finance, engineering, and procurement, to align supply chain strategies with business goals.
Utilize ERP systems, such as SAP R/3, to manage and monitor supply chain activities effectively.
Prepare detailed reports and presentations using tools like Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Tableau to support decision-making.
Track key performance indicators (KPIs) and provide insights to the leadership team for continuous improvement.
Support the implementation of mitigation strategies to address potential supply chain risks.
Assist in the development of project plans and schedules to ensure timely delivery of supply chain initiatives.
Communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels, including C-suite executives, to ensure alignment and transparency.
Ensure compliance with supply chain agreements and policies to maintain operational excellence.
Requirements
Proven experience in supply chain management, planning, or related field.
Proficiency in ERP systems, such as SAP R/3, and advanced Microsoft Office Suite skills.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets and provide actionable insights.
Excellent communication and reporting skills, including the ability to present to senior leadership.
Familiarity with planning processes, forecasting techniques, and statistical analysis.
Experience with tools like Tableau for data visualization and KPI tracking.
Knowledge of project management principles and ability to manage multiple priorities.
Fluency in English and a strong understanding of supply chain agreements and compliance standards.
