Pharma Engagement Manager, Life Sciences

Role Overview
As an Engagement Manager in our Health and Life Sciences (HLS) practice, you will play a pivotal role in fostering and expanding client relationships within the HLS sector. You ll oversee large enterprise business application development programs for Fortune 100 clients, driving strategic planning, relationship management, people leadership, and technical delivery to achieve revenue and margin targets.
Key Responsibilities
Strategically drive client partnerships, relationships, and business growth in key pharmaceutical accounts.
Lead AI transformation initiatives across commercial analytics, supply chain, marketing, finance, and forecasting.
Deliver programs leveraging Agentic AI, GenAI, MLOps, LLMOps, and Cloud Engineering, transforming areas such as omnichannel excellence, field-force enablement, and patient engagement.
Facilitate agile, in-person problem framing and stakeholder workshops to drive business impact.
Develop comprehensive account plans and lead QBRs, MBRs, and JBPs aligned with client strategies.
Manage programs end-to-end from business consulting and solution delivery to achieving $2M+ annual revenue with high client satisfaction (NPS > 70).
Represent the organization s full portfolio across AI, Engineering & Design, Behavioral Sciences, and Pharma Analytics.
Lead proposal development, client presentations, and business development initiatives.
Manage and mentor onshore/offshore consulting teams to ensure delivery excellence.
Collaborate with major tech ecosystem partners (AWS, Microsoft, OpenAI, Databricks, MongoDB, etc.) on joint solutions and co-sell opportunities.
Success Profile / Requirements
Master s degree or higher in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Engineering, Mathematics, or Business Administration.
9 12 years of experience in healthcare/pharma consulting, with strong exposure to data analytics and AI-driven transformation.
Proven experience leading strategic engagements in the pharmaceutical industry with Fortune 500 clients.
Strong commercial acumen, storytelling ability, and comfort engaging VP/C-level executives.
Excellent leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, ambiguous, cross-functional environment.
Willingness to travel 3 days per week to client sites in New Jersey/New York.
