Description:

Responsible for working in the SAP Project Management Office & Planning Integration Department with the objective of ensuring all projects are delivered using a best-practice Project Delivery Approach and are delivered within the agreed scope, time, cost and quality.

This role will be require providing expert knowledge and support in monitoring progress and reporting on the portfolio status. Below are expectations of the work from the resource:

  • Clear understanding of Project management methodologies.
  • Work with the PMO manager to develop the SAP Project Standards guide, seeking contributions from SAP Project Managers to ensure that the Standards meet best practice.
  • Work with SAP PM s for project documentation documenting.
  • Build up a repository of project templates both technical and management to support the SAP Project Managers use examples from current and past projects to identify best practice.
  • Manage communications from the PMO mailbox including regular reporting cycle requests.
  • Prepare consolidated material from project reports for Bi weekly/monthly review.
  • Work with SAP PM s Supporting the definition of small/medium project scope, goals, deliverables, costs, timescales, plans, dependencies, resource requirements and milestones.
  • Assist Prepare project plan, charter and work breakdown structure.
  • Report and escalate to management as needed.
  • Analyze the actual performance and adherence against the planned activities.
  • Keep all stakeholders informed of progress and issues.
  • Good in Excel & PowerPoint slide preparation.
