In this role, you will architect and deliver highly available, reliable, and cost-effective hosting solutions. Gathering requirements from stakeholders, you'll provide technical leadership and expertise to drive IT Hosting Services initiatives. Your duties include designing architectural models, conducting proof-of-concept testing, documenting policies and procedures, and implementing solutions. Additionally, you'll foster an environment of continuous improvement by initiating activities that promote architectural discoveries, effective risk management, and proactive approaches to change management and problem resolution.
Required Skills & Experience
  • Must have a completed Bachelors degree and/or Masters at an accredited U.S. college/university
  • 8+ years of professional experience, with recent architecture experience
  • Excellent and direct communication skills
  • Strong architecture/design skills for highly available, scalable systems
  • Experience with configuration management tools (Ansible, Puppet, Chef)
  • Expertise with Windows Server, Active Directory, IIS
  • Linux system administration skills (RHEL, CentOS, Ubuntu)
  • Networking and firewall management capabilities
Desired Skills & Experience
  • Expertise in virtualization, cloud computing (AWS, Azure, etc.)
  • Knowledge of containerization (Docker, Kubernetes)
  • Proficiency in monitoring tools (Nagios, Zabbix, Splunk)
  • Background in security practices and risk mitigation
