Project Description
The Funding Information Management System FIMS is a platform for nonprofit organizations to manage their organization profile reporting requirements and to apply for funding for preventative social programs and services.
This web application has been implemented using The client's .NET framework and standards.
We are seeking a developer to enhance current FIMS functionality by adding new and modernizing existing capabilities. The developer needs to be a self-starter with excellent communication and problem-solving skills and client relations experience.
Top Skills Details
Five plus (5+) years' professional experience in design, development, testing, supporting and documenting custom software or package application solutions;
Five (5) years' professional experience with industry standard programming and scripting languages such as C#, .NET, Python, JavaScript, HTML, CSS;
Three (3) years' professional experience with web and mobile frameworks such as React, Angular, Jquery, Node.js;
Five (5) years' experience in database technologies, database, and scripting such as Oracle or SQL Server;
Three (3) years' experience with secure web application development practices, including OWASP principles.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Preference will be given to individuals with the following technical abilities:
1. Previous experience with Restful APIs along with integrating with rest and soap services;
2. Previous experience with Git, Azure, and DevOps is desired;
3. Previous experience with reporting tools such as Active Report and / or PowerBI;
4. Previous experience with testing tools such as HPQC;
5. Nice to have, familiarity with MS Azure development and best practices;
6. Nice to have, experience in UI/UX (User Interface/User Experience) design.
The following soft skills are seen as beneficial
1. The ability to mentor other developers;
2. Ability to manage multiple competing priorities and tight deadlines;
3. Ability to work independently;
4. Strong verbal and written communication skills to communicate with personnel at all levels.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $75.00 - $85.00/hr.
