Job Details

Gridiron IT is seeking a Service Now Developer to work on a team supporting the Office of Information Technology (OIT) under the Executive Office of Immigration Review (EOIR) for the Department of Justice.

Requirements:

  • U.S Citizenship is required.
  • Candidate must be able to obtain Public Trust clearance
  • This position is hybrid (on-site/remote). Candidate will be required to work on-site at minimum, three days a week.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • B.S. degree in Computer Science, MIS or equivalent preferred
  • At minimum 8 years' related work experience
  • Ideal candidate must be self-motivated with a proven track record developing and maintaining ServiceNow solutions
  • Candidate must be organized and analytical, adept at working in a team environment
  • Able to implement on time to a Program Increment (PI) schedule, and able to handle multiple priorities in a fast-moving environment.

Areas of Support include:

  • IT Service Management (ITSM) - Incidents, Service Requests, Service Portal, Change Management, DevOps
  • Strategic Portfolio Management (SPM) - Project Portfolio Management, Innovation Management, Demand Management, Resource Management, Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe)
  • IT Operations Management (ITOM) - Discovery, CMDB
  • Third Party integrations through REST API
  • Ability to support additional areas as necessary.
  • Customer Service Management (CSM)
  • Hardware Asset Management (HAM)
  • Software Asset Management (SAM)

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for the technical specification and implementation of ServiceNow products
  • Provide expertise on technical questions related to development of ServiceNow functions
  • Develops the technical solutions, implements them and conducts production releases

Preferred Skills/Experience:

  • Ideal candidate must be self-motivated with a proven track record developing and maintaining ServiceNow solutions
  • Candidate must be organized and analytical, adept at working in a team environment, able to implement on time to a Program Increment (PI) schedule, and able to handle multiple priorities in a fast-moving environment.
  • System integration experience using web services and other web-based technologies such as XML, HTML, AJAX, CSS, HTTP, REST/SOAP
  • Customizing ServiceNow UI
