Microsoft Solution Architect

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly experienced Microsoft Solution Architect with deep expertise in .NET Development and strong hands-on experience with SQL Server configuration and optimization, especially MAXDOP. The ideal candidate will be proficient in C#, .NET Framework, .NET Core, and web service technologies like WCF or REST, and must have experience in streaming and real-time analytics.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and architect robust, scalable, and secure Microsoft technology-based solutions (.NET, SQL Server).
• Develop enterprise-grade applications using C#, .NET Framework, and .NET Core.
• Integrate and optimize SQL Server databases with a focus on MAXDOP (Maximum Degree of Parallelism).
• Define and implement integration patterns using WCF or RESTful APIs.
• Implement real-time data streaming solutions and analytics capabilities.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define architecture blueprints and technology strategy.
• Conduct performance tuning, load balancing, and server optimization using SQL Server best practices.
• Create and maintain architecture documentation, best practices, and coding standards.
• Mentor and guide development teams in implementing solutions aligned with architecture.

Required Skills and Experience

• 10+ years of experience in Microsoft .NET technologies.
• Strong knowledge and hands-on experience with C#, .NET Framework, .NET Core.
• Deep understanding of SQL Server internals, with specific expertise in MAXDOP configuration and optimization.
• Experience with WCF and/or RESTful service development.
• Familiarity with real-time analytics and data streaming architectures (e.g., Azure Event Hubs, Kafka, SignalR).
• Strong background in application performance tuning and diagnostics.
• Proven ability to design end-to-end enterprise solutions using Microsoft technologies.

Preferred Certifications

• Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert or equivalent.
• TOGAF Certified (The Open Group Architecture Framework).
• Deep familiarity with SQL Server configuration settings such as MAXDOP, cost threshold for parallelism, etc.

Nice to Have

• Experience with cloud-native application development (preferably Azure).
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
• Excellent communication and client-facing skills.
