The ideal candidate will be responsible for defining the overall identity architecture, ensuring security, scalability, and compliance, while guiding developers and engineers through design, development, and deployment of SailPoint-based solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Architect and design end-to-end SailPoint-based Identity Governance solutions that support business and security objectives.
  • Lead and oversee the implementation, customization, and integration of SailPoint IdentityIQ / IdentityNow with enterprise systems (e.g., Active Directory, Workday, ServiceNow, SAP, cloud applications).
  • Define and enforce IAM architecture standards, frameworks, and best practices across provisioning, certification, access request, and password management modules.
  • Collaborate with security, compliance, and infrastructure teams to ensure alignment with enterprise IT strategy and security policies.
  • Provide technical leadership and mentorship to SailPoint developers and IAM engineers.
  • Design role-based (RBAC) and attribute-based (ABAC) access control models for enterprise applications.
  • Develop integration strategies using REST, SCIM, JDBC, or other connectors for cloud and on-prem systems.
  • Drive automation initiatives for identity lifecycle management, access reviews, and access policy enforcement.
  • Conduct performance optimization, troubleshooting, and architecture reviews for existing SailPoint implementations.
  • Develop and maintain architectural documentation, data flow diagrams, and security models.
  • Participate in compliance and audit reviews (SOX, HIPAA, GDPR, ISO 27001) by providing detailed access reports and architectural insights.
  • Stay current with SailPoint product updates, IAM trends, and emerging security technologies to enhance platform maturity.
