About the Role:

Identity Protection (IDP) is one of CrowdStrike's pillars of enterprise network security. We stop breaches by protecting identities from being compromised. We are seeking a Senior Engineer in the US responsible for owning and delivering product features from concept to release and support. Identity Protection is the fastest growing module in CrowdStrike, this is your opportunity to assume a key role on the team.

Please note this role is hybrid, based out of our Arlington, VA office twice a week.

What You'll Do:
  • Support backend engineering efforts from rapid prototypes to large-scale applications across CrowdStrike products.
  • Leverage and build cloud based systems to detect attacks against identity systems.
  • Brainstorm, define, and build collaboratively with members across multiple teams.
  • Obsess about learning, and champion the newest technologies & tricks with others, raising the technical IQ of the team.
  • Be mentored and mentor other developers on web, backend and data storage technologies and our system.
  • Constantly re-evaluate our product to improve architecture, knowledge models, user experience, performance and stability.


What You'll Need:
  • US Person on US Soil is required. This role will require the candidate to periodically undergo and pass additional background and fingerprint check(s) consistent with government customer requirements.
  • 7-10+ years of software engineering experience in all phases of a software development lifecycle.
  • BS in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent work experience.
  • Proven experience in building high-quality SaaS solutions at scale and on time.
  • Prior experience with one or more of the languages we write code in: Golang, Java, NodeJS, and Python.
  • Deep understanding of distributed systems and scalability challenges.
  • Deep understanding of multi-threading, concurrency, and parallel processing technologies.
  • Solid design and problem solving skills with demonstrated passion for engineering excellence, quality, security and performance.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to effectively collaborate with a global team.


Bonus Points:
  • Prior experience in a technical leadership role
  • Broad knowledge of Identity Providers or Identity and Access Management systems
  • Prior cybersecurity industry experience or certification related to cybersecurity
  • Prior experience developing products for the US federal government
