The Role
Step into the driver's seat as Senior Group Product Manager - EV Charging, where you'll revolutionize the entire EV charging experience-transforming it into a standout reason for customers to choose GM electric vehicles.
You will manage products-everything EV Charging, from engaging mobile apps and sleek in-vehicle UIs to the innovative software that enables support of the diverse charging networks. Your leadership will be instrumental in crafting unforgettable charging moments that elevate EV vehicle ownership.
In this position you will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including engineering, design, program and other business units, to deliver seamless and reliable charging solutions. You'll analyze market trends, gather customer feedback, and leverage data-driven insights to guide the evolution of our charging ecosystem. With a focus on innovation and user-centricity, you'll drive opportunities to enhance convenience, speed, and accessibility across all touchpoints.
By enhancing our experiences across charging networks and improving interoperability, you will be a key element in ensuring GM drivers have access to dependable charging wherever they go. Ultimately, your work will empower both current and future GM customers to transition confidently to electric mobility, knowing their charging experience is in expert hands.

What You'll Do
- Own the long-term product vision, setting strategic direction for EV Charging.
- Develop and implement strategies to ensure transparent and delightful user
experiences that help customers understand how to manage your charge if you want to, and simple experiences if you want to just 'plug in'.
- Lead a cross-functional team of stakeholders encompassing Legal, Design,
Engineering, Other Business Units, Program, and Product Managers to create intuitive customer experiences that meets customer and business needs.
- Act as the voice of the customer, ensuring charging experience sets the standard, including with elements that you are not in direct ownership.
- Actively monitor emerging trends, incorporate data, research, and market
analysis to inform, define, prioritize, and drive execution of product roadmap.
- Demonstrate and drive a data-driven culture. Establish and monitor key metrics to be in tune with product health, and how customers are using our capabilities.

Your Skills & Abilities (Required Qualifications)
- 8+ years of experience in product management.
- 5+ years of experience in EVs or related technologies
- Proven ability to balance tradeoffs between consumer needs and
expectations, legal and regulatory requirements, and business objectives.
- Experience developing solutions to hard problems with many constraints,
using sound judgement to assess risks, and laying out your argument in a
well-structured, data-informed, written narrative.
- Demonstrated expertise in writing, with the ability to effectively balance and
integrate pressures from across the company. Clear communication perspectives to ensure clear, compliant, and engaging content for privacy-related matters.
- Familiarity with the tech backbone that enables charging networks. Back-office software, standards-based protocols including ISO 15118, power electronics, and grid connections.
- Ability to identify key data and metrics required to make decisions and
implications of their movement.
- Strong communication and storytelling skills, with the ability to articulate
complex concepts to all stakeholders.

- 10+ years of product management experience
- 8+ years of experience in EVs or related technologies

- The salary range for this role is $234,000 - $358,000. The actual base salary a successful candidate will be offered within this range will vary based on factors relevant to the position.
- Bonus Potential: An incentive pay program offers payouts based on company performance, job level, and individual performance.
