Data Research Systems Analyst
Location: Washington, DC
Description: Seeking a Data Research Systems Analyst to support our efforts under the PRISM MATOC Task Order for the Office of the Assistant Secretary of Defense for Manpower and Reserve Affairs (OASD M&RA). This role focuses on leveraging data expertise to enhance operational capabilities, supporting personnel policy, readiness, and financial resilience. The analyst will drive predictive modeling and system analysis, contributing to M&RA's mission through advanced technical insights.
This position is contingent upon contract award.

The analyst will drive predictive modeling and system analysis, contributing to M&RA's mission through advanced technical insights.

Responsibilities:
- Conduct data analysis to support operational requirements aligned with OASD M&RA priorities.
- Develop predictive modeling techniques to provide actionable insights for mission planning.
- Analyze and optimize system performance to ensure efficient data integration and reporting.
- Create visualizations and reports to communicate findings to stakeholders effectively.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate data solutions into broader objectives.
- Maintain documentation for data models, system updates, and analytical procedures.
- Evaluate and implement new data technologies to enhance system capabilities and address evolving needs.
- Liaise with government personnel to align analytical efforts with policy and readiness goals.
- Maintain currency with DoD data standards, protocols, and security requirements.
- Support cross-functional coordination to ensure seamless project execution.
Required Experience:
- Proven experience in data analysis within DoD or federal environments, with expertise in predictive modeling.
- Strong skills in system analysis and data visualization to support operational decision-making.
- Ability to work on analytical projects in high-uncertainty settings and manage multiple tasks effectively.
- Proficiency in data tools and languages relevant to DoD systems (e.g., Python, R, SQL).
- Experience with data validation processes to meet security and performance standards.
- Operational working knowledge of DoD data systems and security protocols.
- Capacity to collaborate with technical teams and contribute under pressure.
- Familiarity with DoD personnel policy and readiness support systems.
- Active Secret Clearance or the ability to qualify and obtain a Secret clearance.
Education:
- Bachelor's degree in data science, computer science, or related field; Master's degree strongly preferred.
- 10+ years of progressive experience in data analysis, including 5+ years supporting federal programs like PRISM.
- Certifications in data analytics or predictive modeling (e.g., Certified Analytics Professional) a plus.
- 5+ years of experience developing predictive models for large-scale government initiatives.
