Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced IAM Engineer with a strong background in Kafka, .NET development, and Identity and Access Management (IAM). The ideal candidate will be responsible for building and supporting IAM capabilities across complex enterprise environments. This role involves close collaboration with development, infrastructure, and security teams to ensure robust access management solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, implement, and manage IAM solutions across enterprise applications and services.
- Develop and support secure .NET applications, ensuring proper integration with IAM protocols and access policies.
- Configure and maintain Kafka environments with a focus on security (ACLs, topic management, consumer group access).
- Design and implement RBAC frameworks and models across enterprise applications and systems.
- Work with application owners and security teams to define roles, permissions, and segregation of duties (SoD) rules.
- Integrate IAM platforms such as SailPoint, Okta, or Azure AD with enterprise systems and applications.
- Document IAM architecture, configurations, and standard operating procedures.
- Perform access reviews and compliance audits to support SOX, GDPR, HIPAA, and other regulatory standards.
- Collaborate with application owners to define identity models, permission structures, and automation strategies.
- Troubleshoot and resolve IAM-related incidents and service issues.
- Support IAM policy enforcement through scripting and orchestration tools.
Required Qualifications:
- 8+ years of experience in Identity and Access Management (IAM) solutions and practices.
- Strong development experience with .NET/C#.
- Hands-on experience configuring and managing Kafka (security, ACLs, integrations).
- Familiarity with authentication and authorization protocols such as SAML, OAuth, and LDAP.
- Experience with IAM tools such as SailPoint, Okta, Ping Identity, or Azure AD.
- Understanding of industry security and compliance standards (NIST, SOX, GDPR, ISO 27001).
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in Agile/Scrum environments.
- Excellent communication and documentation skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience integrating IAM into distributed and microservices architectures.
- Familiarity with DevSecOps and infrastructure-as-code tools (Terraform, Ansible).
- Relevant security certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISM).
- Previous experience in finance, healthcare, or regulated industries.
