Description
We are looking for an experienced IT Support Specialist to join our team in Solon, Ohio. This is a long-term contract position where you will play a key role in providing technical assistance, managing system configurations, and ensuring the smooth operation of business applications. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in IT support and database management, coupled with strong troubleshooting skills and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
Responsibilities:
Deliver comprehensive technical support for hardware, software, and network-related issues.
Resolve multi-factor authentication challenges and troubleshoot authentication applications.
Configure and manage user accounts, including access permissions and security protocols.
Set up and deploy time clocks to support employee tracking and attendance.
Maintain and optimize databases, including SAP Business One and Microsoft Access, ensuring data integrity and system performance.
Assist with programming tasks and develop automation solutions to streamline IT processes.
Provide support for SAP Business One by addressing issues, assisting users, and managing updates.
Document technical procedures, troubleshooting processes, and user guides for reference.
Collaborate with the IT team to enhance operational efficiency and system security.
Apply expertise in cloud-based authentication and identity management solutions to support organizational needs.
Requirements
Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in IT support or a similar field.
Proficiency in managing SAP Business One and Microsoft Access databases.
Hands-on experience with authentication apps and resolving multi-factor authentication issues.
Familiarity with installing and configuring time clocks for attendance systems.
Basic programming skills to create automation solutions and improve IT workflows.
Strong problem-solving abilities and a self-sufficient approach to handling tasks.
Excellent communication and customer service skills to effectively support end-users.
Knowledge of various technologies, including Microsoft, Cisco, Citrix, Mac computers, Apple devices, SQL, and Active Directory.
