Job Title: Technical Environment Manager – OCIO Investment Technology

Location: Boston, MA (Hybrid – 3 days onsite)

Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Technical Environment Manager to oversee and coordinate multiple technical environments supporting large-scale investment management technology initiatives within an OCIO framework. This role ensures stable, secure, and compliant environments that support the full SDLC for investment platforms and applications.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage development, test, staging, production, and DR environments

  • Ensure environment stability, scalability, security, and compliance

  • Coordinate environment provisioning, releases, and deployments

  • Collaborate with architecture, engineering, business, and cybersecurity teams

  • Manage third-party vendors and SLAs

  • Monitor environment health, capacity, and performance

  • Support incident management, root cause analysis, and risk mitigation

  • Maintain environment documentation, standards, and best practices

Required Skills & Experience:

  • Proven experience managing complex technical environments in financial services or investment management

  • Strong understanding of SDLC, testing cycles, and environment management

  • Experience integrating multiple technology platforms

  • Excellent stakeholder and vendor management skills

  • Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving abilities

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with investment platforms (e.g., State Street Alpha, FactSet, Jacobi)

  • Agile / DevOps / CI-CD experience

  • Cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform)

  • ITIL or service management knowledge

  • OCIO or investment consulting experience
