Python Architect - Direct Hire

We are seeking an experienced Python Architect to guide the next generation of our enterprise platforms. This individual will shape the design of scalable, secure, and cloud-native systems while embedding AI/ML capabilities into critical applications. The role combines high-level technical vision with hands-on architectural leadership and team mentorship.

Key Responsibilities

• Define and evolve back-end architectures with a focus on scalability, performance, and security.
• Lead the design of distributed, cloud-native applications leveraging Google Cloud Platform (or AWS where applicable).
• Architect and implement FastAPIs and services using Python frameworks such as FastAPI.
• Optimize data models and persistence layers with MongoDB.
• Introduce and integrate AI/ML capabilities into applications using modern platforms (e.g., Vertex AI, Gemini, LLMs).
• Provide architectural oversight, enforce best practices, and mentor global development teams across the U.S. and India.
• Collaborate with product, management, and cross-functional stakeholders to align solutions with business objectives.
• Evaluate new technologies, drive adoption of DevOps practices, and automate delivery pipelines.
• Conduct technical assessments, effort estimates, and ensure compliance with industry standards.
• Present technical strategy internally and contribute to external knowledge-sharing forums.

Communication & Leadership

• Act as a bridge between business and technology stakeholders.
• Lead effective team and client discussions, resolving issues proactively.
• Motivate and coordinate distributed teams, ensuring optimal collaboration and productivity.
• Support IT leadership in advancing organizational best practices and technology standards.

Qualifications

Required:

• Bachelor s degree in Computer Science or related field.
• 6+ years in software architecture and back-end development.
• Expertise with cloud platforms (Google Cloud Platform preferred, AWS accepted), including design and cost optimization.
• Strong experience with Python and modern FastAPI frameworks.

Preferred:

• Cloud certifications (Google Cloud Platform/AWS).
• In-depth MongoDB experience (schema design, indexing, performance tuning).
• Familiarity with microservices, event-driven systems, and Domain-Driven Design.
• Background in DevOps automation, CI/CD, and infrastructure as code.
• Experience integrating AI/ML models and services into production workflows.
• Knowledge of front-end frameworks (Angular/Ionic) is a plus.
• Demonstrated leadership in mentoring distributed teams and influencing architectural direction.
