Job Summary:
Position Overview:
The Intermediate Consultant IT/Digital Project Manager is responsible for leading and managing complex projects at Ameren. This role requires a blend of technical knowledge, project management expertise, and strong leadership skills to drive successful outcomes in our digital transformation initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:
Project Execution:
Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of assigned IT/Digital projects, ensuring alignment with strategic goals and objectives.
Manage IT application development projects, including software development, integrations, databases, and third-party vendor implementations.
Set expectations, review work, and provide real-time feedback to team members.
Work closely with the Agile Project Management Office (APMO) and Vendor Management Office (VMO) to ensure project alignment and compliance.

Stakeholder Management:
Manage business partner relationships and lead discussions at the Manager / Senior Manager level (occasionally at Director-level and above).
Develop and maintain relationships with business partners and other Digital teams.
Create and deliver presentations for stakeholders, effectively communicating project status, risks, and outcomes.

Strategy and Planning:
Contribute to the creation and oversight of team strategy & roadmap, including prioritization of key focus areas, initiatives, and projects.
Participate in staffing, capacity, and resource planning to ensure optimal team performance.

Risk and Quality Management:
Identify when to raise awareness and/or escalate issues to senior leadership.
Ensure accountability for audit, control, and release management processes.
Required Qualifications:
Experience:
3 to 7 years' experience managing IT application development projects, including software development, integrations, databases, and third-party vendor implementations.
3 to 5 years of Project Management experience in larger organizations using structured Project Management principles, practices, and tools.

Education:
Degree preferred but not required.
PMP certification preferred but not required.

Skills and Competencies:
Strong, demonstrated leadership and emotional intelligence skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Working knowledge and experience with Microsoft Project.
Advanced problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
Proficiency in project management tools and software (Jira, MS Project).
Understanding of IT infrastructure, software development lifecycles, and digital transformation concepts.
