RESPONSIBILITIES:
A client with Kforce is seeking a Technical Analyst II to join their team in San Diego, CA.
Summary:
We are seeking a technically-skilled Grafana Dashboard Designer to join our Workforce Management team. The ideal candidate is a detail-oriented individual with a passion for transforming complex data into intuitive, visually appealing, and actionable dashboards. You will combine your expertise in data analysis, coding, and user interface design to build insightful reports that drive business decisions.
REQUIREMENTS:
* 3-5 years with any dashboard implementation
* Dashboard Development: Design, develop, and maintain dynamic and interactive Grafana dashboards and reports to monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and system health
* Data Source Integration: Connect to and query various data sources, including databases (SQL, NoSQL), time-series databases (Prometheus, InfluxDB), and APIs
* UI/UX Design: Apply UI/UX principles to ensure dashboards are user-friendly, logically structured, and aesthetically pleasing. Create visually consistent and effective data representations using graphs, charts, tables, and other UI elements
* Prioritize competing tasks, foster stakeholder buy-in, manage multiple projects, and communicate progress effectively
* Effectively communicate and interact with Senior Leadership
* Proven experience designing and building complex dashboards in Grafana
* Strong experience with query languages like SQL or similar
* Solid understanding of UI/UX principles and best practices for data visualization
* Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions
* Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work well in dynamic and matrix team environments
* Experience with analytics to understand, manipulate, and share data in an impactful way
* Ability to work independently and navigate ambiguity
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
