Overview
LMI is seeking an experienced and skilled Power Platform Developer to lead application development for a major office at the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs (VA). The developer will work closely with business teams to understand their requirements, provide design recommendations, and work with business teams to implement automated processes and workflows.

Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and implement solutions using the Microsoft Power Platform suite
- Develop and maintain applications using Power Apps
- Automate workflows and business processes using Microsoft Power Automate
- Create data visualization and reporting solutions using Power BI
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver custom solutions
- Create scalable, efficient, and secure solutions to meet customer's business objectives
- Fix bugs and refactor as necessary
- Integrate Power Platform solutions with other Microsoft services and third-party applications
- Provide technical support, documentation, and training
- Stay up to date with the latest features and updates in Power Platform
Qualifications
Required:
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field
- 7+ years development in Microsoft technologies (3+ years Power Platform)
- Proficient in solution architecture and design principles
- Proficient at Power BI languages (Power Query, M, DAX, SQL, R)
- Proficient in integration technologies, data connectors, APIs, and protocols
- Ability to translate business requirements and design effective solutions
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
- Ability to obtain a Public Trust clearance
Desired Qualifications:
- Active, or previously held, Public Trust clearance within VA.
- Certification in Agile or ability to obtain within 3-4 months (e.g. may include PMP-ACP, ICP, APMG, ACI, CSM, and PSM SAFe ) and understanding of the software development process.
Target salary range: $110k-180k
