Job Description

The position will assist in pre-sale, execution & post-sale efforts for NBCUniversal's Olympic & Paralympic Media, and Rights & Sponsorship Groups.

Duties and Responsibilities

Pre-sale process:

  • Ability to build and maintain tracking documents with attention to detail.
  • This role will interface with internal constituencies (marketing, sales, management, research, production, and legal) in order to secure requisite input/approvals for business opportunities.
  • Individual must also have the ability to interface with external customers (advertisers, agencies) and translate the needs of the target brand into executable programs that generate revenue for NBC Universal.

Create Sales and Marketing Materials to help drive Media and Sponsorship Sales Strategy:

  • Visual storytelling: Weave insights and ideas into compelling, coherent stories using PowerPoint and other desktop design applications.
  • Research target companies and create streamlined prospect lists
  • Work with media sellers to build opportunity presentations.
  • Work with sponsorship sellers to create new and incremental selling tools
  • Work with Social Platform partners to build sales materials

Communication:

  • Cultivate relationships and facilitate efficient, transparent communication with internal partners.

Cross-platform dexterity:

  • Support in the development of ideas that stretch across platforms (linear, streaming, digital, social, VOD, etc.)

Post-sale process:

  • Assist in the execution of multi-platform campaign packages sold to brand partners and ensuring all stakeholders are consistently informed and adhering to the terms of the deal.
  • Work with key counterparts in Production, Programming, Promotions and USOPP, as well as other Solutions teams from across NBC Universal to ensure successful and quality execution of all sponsorship elements.


Qualifications

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree or relevant experience
  • Strong written and oral communication skills.
  • Knowledge of sales, media and brand marketing process.
  • Ability to solve problems and work proactively.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong knowledge of the digital marketplace preferred.
  • Demonstrated interest in media, sponsorship, and social media

Salary Range: $55,000 - $65,000
