Voyatek is seeking applicants to occupy the position of Scrum Master within our team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Practice servant leadership while coaching and advancing Scrum and Agile practices.
- Facilitate key Scrum ceremonies and team collaboration using tools like Jira and Confluence.
- Maintain communication with Product Managers, development teams, and leadership on project progress, team issues, and Agile process improvements.
- Track development performance metrics and guide the team toward continuous improvement and delivery.
- Assess and enhance Scrum maturity across teams and the organization.
- Lead problem-solving sessions such as brainstorming and root cause analysis for process improvements.
- Provide servant leadership for product launches and portfolio management across multiple Scrum teams.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree and a valid Project Management Professional (PMP) certification from the Project Management Institute (PMI) - Additional qualifying experience may be substituted for the required education on a year- for-year basis. The PMP certification is required and may not be substituted with additional experience.
- Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or Professional Scrum Master (CSP).
- Minimum of seven (7) years of broad, extensive and increasingly responsible experience applying PM principles, methods, techniques, and tools. At least four (4) years of that experience must have been as a senior PM of one or more large or complex IT projects.
- 3+ years of experience as a Scrum Master or Agile Project Manager, managing complex digital projects and delivering at least two Agile software projects.
- Strong communication and presentation skills, capable of explaining technical concepts to business stakeholders and leadership.
- Proven ability to facilitate User Story development and coach Product Owners on best practices.
- Experience in cross-functional teams, driving concurrent projects in a matrixed organization.
- Proficient with project management and collaboration tools, including Atlassian Jira (minimum 2 years) and Confluence.
- Strong understanding of Agile methodologies, software development lifecycles, cloud architecture, and DevOps tools.
- Solution-oriented with a high level of attention to detail and dedication to quality deliverables.
- Comfortable addressing issues, influencing change, and navigating ambiguity or conflict.
- Enthusiastic, self-motivated, and able to work both independently and collaboratively.
- Experience coaching Technical Product Management teams.
- Professional demeanour, with the ability to work effectively with executives and leadership.
The wage range for this role reflects the wide array of factors considered in compensation decisions. These factors include, but are not limited to, skill sets, experience, training, licensure and certifications, and geographic location. Compensation decisions are based on the unique facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the annual range is $120,000.00 - $155,000.00.
This position may be eligible for a discretionary bonus. It is classified as exempt under applicable law.
